On Wednesday, October 22nd, we opened our doors on Chapel Street in New Haven: A longtime dream come true, where we’ve reimagined the record store as a cultural sanctuary.

Our shelves hold thousands of near-mint originals, ultra-limited pressings, and culturally iconic reissues that have shaped generations. Grails is at once a gallery of recorded art, an emporium of music-themed curiosities—from vintage merch to cassette-era gear—and a gathering place for fellow travelers fluent in, or just discovering, the language of music.
